Rules and Regulations

3

It is the responsibility of special category shooters (Veteran, Sr. Veteran, Sub Veteran, Lady 1 & 2, Junior Gold, Junior & Sub Junior, Chair) to see that they are correctly classified prior to cashiering. (FOR ALL AMERICAN POINTS PURPOSES ONLY)

4

Information needed to award trophies, added money and to make reports to the ATA will be taken from entry forms—be sure all information on your entry form is correct.

5

Each shooter who is entitled to receive money won during any event agrees that if such money is not received by him/her at the shoot, then a check will be mailed using the address on record. LPRG will not be responsible in any way for checks lost, stolen, unclaimed, undelivered or otherwise not received by the shooter.

6

All trophies must be picked up. No trophies will be mailed.

7

There will be no trophy buy-backs.

8

No shooter shall win more than one trophy per event.

9

Reloads that meet the ATA specifications will be permitted at this shoot.

10

Please follow all safety rules. Failure to follow safety rules may result in disqualification.

11

Targets will be adjusted by shoot management only.

1

Before entering the competition, every person agrees to accept all official decisions and to abide by ATA and LPRG rules. Members are strongly encouraged to know the ATA rules for their own benefit and for the benefit of other shooters.

2

No shooter shall be allowed to make up more than 50 targets on the practice traps if he/she has missed his/her squad. If you are unable to join your squad before the squad leader fires his/her first shot of the third sub event, you must re-squad. All make-ups, either for missed squads or gun repairs, must report to the practice trap area within 30 minutes of the last squad taking the line for the current event.

Classification and Handicapping

Please have your average card current and up to date at time of handicapping. Shooters are required to have their singles and doubles scores entered and averaged on their card.

Shooters who also shoot in PITA will be required to shoot handicap at their longest posted yardage. Please have ALL average cards ready for the Handicap Committee to review.

Failure to have a current card could result in higher classification. Longest yardage, highest average and known ability will be used for classification at this shoot.

Penalty: Shooters not having 500 singles and 500 doubles targets in the current or last year combined on which to base a classification, will be required to shoot not less than “A” class in singles and “B” class in doubles. Male and junior male shooters who do not have at least 500 handicap targets in the current year or last year combined will be handicapped no less than 24 yards; and ladies and sub junior shooters at 22 yards.

Shooters who win or tie their class in the Class Singles or Class Doubles events shall advance a class for the Championship events. All ties in Singles and Doubles will carry over—no shoot offs.

CLASS SINGLES (%) DOUBLES (%)
AAA 98 and over 96 and over
AA 96.25 and under 98 92 and under 96
